Department Overview

The Law Department at the College of Science and Theoretical Studies offers a distinguished Bachelor’s program that keeps pace with legislative developments and integrates both Sharia and statutory laws within a comprehensive academic framework. The department aims to prepare highly qualified legal professionals by providing students with knowledge of the Saudi judicial systems and developing their skills in legal analysis and systematic handling of practical cases. It also seeks to graduate a generation of legal experts capable of serving society across various judicial and legal sectors and actively contributing to supporting the justice system and development in the Kingdom. The program aims to prepare specialized and qualified graduates capable of actively contributing to various development sectors and keeping up with global academic and scientific advancements in the field of law. This is achieved by enabling students to acquire the legal knowledge and skills that enhance their competitiveness and elevate their academic and practical proficiency.
The program also seeks to address the shortage of academically and professionally qualified national legal professionals and to achieve self-sufficiency in national competencies through local and international partnerships that support continuous development and strengthen both theoretical and applied integration.

As the Holy Qur'an reminds us: “Indeed, Allah commands justice and excellence” (Qur'an 16:90). Likewise, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the virtue of justice, saying: “Those who act justly will be upon pulpits of light in the presence of Allah.” These enduring principles continue to inspire our commitment to legal education, professional integrity, and responsible leadership.
