The cooperative training in the Law Department is a required course within the Bachelor of Law program at the College of Science and Theoretical Studies. It was approved in accordance with University Affairs Council Resolution No. (1/20/45).
Students spend no less than one academic semester in cooperative training, with a minimum of 460 training hours, whether in the public or private sector, within fields related to their specialization. The student is expected to demonstrate an understanding of the nature of legal work and the roles and responsibilities involved.

First: Conditions that must be met by the training entity for approval
- Completing the registration form and having it stamped by the training entity.
- The start date of the training must match the date specified in the official announcement.
- The training period must not be less than 6 months, with a minimum of 460 training hours.
- The training tasks listed in the registration form must be related to the field of law and must include no fewer than five different tasks.
- Training must be conducted in person at the training location, not remotely, and the entity must confirm this in the registration form.
- Any training that the student begins before receiving final approval from the College Training Committee will not be recognized.
- Failure to submit any required report by the specified deadlines will result in the student not passing the course.
Second: Registration Requirements (For the Student)
- The student must register for the Cooperative Training course before the start of the academic semester designated for training.
- The student must be enrolled in Level 7 or Level 8 during the semester in which they wish to register for the Cooperative Training course.
- The student may enroll in other courses alongside the Cooperative Training course, provided that the total registered credit hours do not exceed the maximum allowed.
- The student issues an official letter addressed to the training entity through the Student Services portal.
- The student prints the letter directly from Student Services and must ensure that it specifies training for the current semester. Note that the letter will be updated starting from the beginning of the registration period.
- The student submits the letter and the registration form to the training entity.
- The training entity completes the registration form and stamps it.
- The student fills out the registration application available on the training page of the department’s website and uploads both the letter from Student Services and the completed registration form in the same application.
(Note: The student may prepare the files in advance, but applications will only be processed after the registration period ends.) - The training period must not be less than 460 training hours, must include at least five different tasks, and the tasks listed in the form must be related to the student’s specialization.
- The student will be notified if the information provided in the application is rejected or requires modification.
- The Training Committee reviews all files. If approved, the student receives an email with preliminary approval. If not approved, the student will not receive an approval email and will not be enrolled in cooperative training for that semester.
- Preliminary approval does not constitute final approval. Final approval is granted only if the student is enrolled in Level 7 or Level 8 during the training semester. If not, the training registration will be automatically canceled.
