Technical Support Department

Receiving and addressing reports of malfunctions related to the central computer network and personal computers.
Performing maintenance programs for personal computers, their networks, and associated peripherals.
Installing and configuring endpoints and printers in the university’s colleges and administrative departments.
Monitoring and maintaining endpoints and printers.
Participating in defining technical specifications for the needs of colleges and administrative departments and evaluating vendor proposals.
Contributing to technical studies for future projects regarding the university’s hardware, software, and network requirements.
Maintaining laboratory computers and equipment across the university.
Coordinating with the female students’ section to resolve technical issues related to computers.
Developing and improving departmental workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity, in consultation with the supervisor.
Providing technical support for all approved software used within the university or administrative departments.
Receiving reports regarding email and internet services and referring them to the responsible unit.
Preparing and setting up software and computer systems for university staff.
