Public Health Department

The Public Health Department at the College of Health Sciences is dedicated to preparing a generation of specialists capable of addressing current and future health challenges in Saudi society by equipping them with the scientific knowledge and practical skills necessary to improve the health of individuals and communities. The department focuses on developing students’ competencies in areas such as the prevention of infectious and chronic diseases, analyzing the effects of environmental, social, and psychological factors on human health, designing and implementing health programs, formulating policies, and conducting research that enhances quality of life and promotes healthy lifestyles. The department offers career opportunities in fields such as epidemiology, biostatistics, occupational health, environmental health, health promotion, and academic research.
