- Organize conferences and seminars, both physical and virtual, to raise students’ awareness of the latest developments in digital media and their relation to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
- Host activities and events that highlight the creative work and contributions of club members in digital media.
- Participate in digital media coverage of various events inside and outside the university to exchange experiences and develop general media skills, especially in digital media.
- Design and implement cultural and social programs to enrich students’ knowledge, raise social awareness, and foster a sense of community responsibility.
- Hold seminars and forums inviting media managers, digital media practitioners, and business leaders to address labor market needs for digital media graduates and guide students in personal development to meet current and future job requirements.
- Assist club members in obtaining internship and job opportunities in media organizations.
- Promote creative media products (e.g., media content, electronic games, design software) through exhibitions and online marketing.
- Organize competitions in various digital media fields and activities to encourage innovation and creativity among students.
- Arrange educational and cultural visits and trips to media institutions, industrial and commercial organizations related to digital media, and tourist sites.
- Host cultural, artistic, and sports events to provide entertainment for students.
- Develop and continuously update a database of students’ talents and creative interests in digital media.
- Publish electronic newspapers and magazines to train students in digital journalism, cover club activities, and report on local and global events.
- Launch social media accounts and websites, providing them with media content produced by students.
The club is affiliated with the Electronic Media Department at the college. It is managed by a Board of Directors headed by a student who meets the nomination requirements and is elected for a full academic year by the club members.
The Board of Directors consists of ten members in addition to the Club President and Vice President. It includes heads of committees (Branch Coordination, Program Planning and Implementation, Communications and Public Relations, Media Committee, and Finance Committee) and five student members elected by the club’s General Assembly.
Various committees and teams dedicated to the club’s activities operate under the Board of Directors and the General Assembly. Proposals regarding these committees, including defining their tasks and responsibilities, can be submitted by the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, or the Department Head and Club Supervisor. Decisions are made through a vote by the Board members.
